No wonder food bloggers are not taken seriously! Tee hee!
Due to recent events, we’ve had e-mail and chat laugh sessions to blow off steam. We’re barely done with Minnette’s Lasang Pinoy 4. In a few days we’re ready to announce Lasang Pinoy 5 but that didn’t stop some of us from working on another event. Guess what some irreverent, creative and funny people came up with. A Lasang Pinoy Special Edition. Hehehehe!
Stef is hosting the event. She hasn’t put up the guidelines on her blog yet but in essence, they are as follows:
- Lasang Pinoy 4.5 is basically a “protest blogging event”.
- A single old post, a compilation of older posts, or a new post altogether can be submitted as an entry, whichever is easier.
- These would be posts wherein we borrowed someone else’s pic or where someone took the picture for us because we couldn’t take one ourselves.
- A compilation of those posts would then be written up for the round-up.
- A new post using someone’s picture instead can also be used. (Don’t forget to ask permission first LOL.)
- Or use one of your old posts, but instead of using YOUR picture, use someone else’s — again, with proper attribution.
There can be many permutations of the same theme, so if you come up with a new one, use it! — the message is that there is no need to use someone else’s intellectual property, and that if we ever felt the need to, that the best way is always to ask first and get that person’s permission, which more often than not will be granted.
Ok, that’s Stef talking. To spoof something serious… so Filipino. Lasang Pinoy without the food!
